A modern, elegant and unique take on the 1920′s headband.
On either side of your head sit flurries of feathers. Thick soft natural rooster hackle, billowing ostrich plumes with lovely soft movement, and spikes of pheasant feathers. I have added some additional texture with rust red textile knots, taken from a hand-woven Guatemalan textile, and beautiful hand beaded and sequinned indian details. The base of the headpiece is a burgundy and ivory chenille trim, and the headpiece ties behind your head with burgundy ribbon.
This headpiece can be worn with the Nenonen Headband for a more dramatic effect. [Click here to view Nenonen]

Each headpiece is handmade to order by me, in my studio in Brighton, England. I take a lot of time and care over each one, ensuring that they are made to the highest heirloom standard. The carefully perfected design ensures that they are lightweight and easy to wear. Due to the nature of the unique materials used in Hapuska designs, they are all limited edition or one-of-a kind.
